Emma Walkinshaw is a highly accomplished all-rounder – she is a coach, creator, facilitator and founder – and she’s dedicated to empowering women to unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Emma is an ICF certified coach and accredited yoga instructor. She’s also an incredibly successful entrepreneur and business owner, having started her first business at the tender age of 23.
She’s the founder of the successful online membership program 21 Minutes of Morning Magic – a simple morning ritual using the techniques of yoga, meditation and flowetry (a form of journaling).
In this conversation, Emma talks about the evolution of her career, why it’s important to prioritise investing in yourself, and the injecting play into your life and business.
Highlights:
- Stepping stones: How each transition of her working life has connected to contribute to Emma’s current work and business.
- Outgrowing your business: Emma explains how her first career as a hairdresser and salon owner plateaued after 14 years leaving her feeling stuck.
- Key components for getting unstuck: The importance of a supportive network and an investment in coaching for raising your confidence and self esteem and for exploring new opportunities and ideas.
- Tuning into your own answers: Reconnecting to your inner self to turn down the volume on your inner critic so you can hear your voice of wisdom and intuition.
- Making big (and expensive!) choices: Emma talks through the process she and her husband went through in making the decision to take a month away from their businesses to travel overseas.
